Procurement and Trade Intelligence, Inside the Agent

TenderAlpha’s MCP server exposes the same governed backend behind the API, the data feeds and the TenderAlpha Platform as a documented set of tools that any AI agent can call. Analysts working in Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or an internal agent can query contract awards, open tenders, awardee companies and contracting authorities directly, without an export step or a bespoke integration.

The underlying dataset is the largest government contracts database on the market: 120 million+ contract awards across 65 countries since 2010, with 14,000+ publicly listed companies mapped to ticker and 5 million+ private companies resolved by National ID. Open tenders sit alongside the awards, so an agent can see both what has been won and what is still open.

The surface is not limited to procurement. A single company profile returns that company’s government contracting, import, export and B2B trading footprints together, each split into all time and the trailing twelve months, each carrying both a transaction count and a value, and each labelled with the window it covers. That is the G2B transaction view in one call: public spending and global trade reconciled against the same company entity, without joining two datasets by hand.

Access is entitled per organisation and every call is metered, with the cost returned in the response rather than reconciled at the end of the month. Every tool is read only.

Where an Agent Changes the Work

Quantitative Research
Pull award momentum for a ticker or a sector directly into a research agent, then extend the same conversation into open tenders to see what is still in play. Contract history resolves to the listed entity, so the signal joins to a book without a mapping step.
Counterparty and Supplier Diligence
Establish a company's full commercial footprint in one exchange: its government contracting alongside its import, export and B2B trading activity, by count and by value, all time and trailing twelve months, rolled up through its parents and subsidiaries. Shows whether a supplier leans on public revenue, on trade, or on both.
G2B Transaction Analysis
Follow public money into global trade. Profile a contracting authority, break its spend down by supplier and location, then pull each supplier's import and export footprint to see where the work actually flows once it has been awarded.
Capture and Bid Intelligence
Search open tenders by authority, category or geography and set an agent to watch them, with the incumbent's award history available in the same conversation. Answers who has won comparable work, not who is bidding.

One Backend, Four Surfaces

The MCP server is an additional way to consume the same data, not a separate product. Clients pick the surface that fits how they work.

MCP Server
Agent native. Documented tools any MCP client can call, entitled and metered per call.
Open API
RESTful access for engineering teams, with field selection and pre flight query estimates.
Data Feeds
Scheduled delivery and SQL connectors for pipelines and warehouses.
Platform
The TenderAlpha web application, for analysts working by hand.
